Back to Chianti Cashmere

7 of us needed to move 50 goats from one enclosed field to another at the wine estate where they clear the lush grasses. The instructions were pretty clear - (1) we needed to insure that the goats didn't get into the vineyard between the two fields and (2) we couldn't let any goats escape. As soon as Nora opened the gates to the enclosure where the goats had been grazing, they dashed right into the vineyard, where we had to flush them out... and one of them got away. The lovable Abruzzese were no help at all, since they're not herding dogs - their job is just to provide protection from wolves.
